Spring 2023 Cul2vator Graduation!

On Friday, March 24, we celebrated our newest graduates, Ryan and Jackie! Ryan has already headed for East Tennessee to be back with family, so we celebrated him virtually! Both of these incredible men were introduced to Cul2vate by our friends at Men of Valor.

We missed Ryan being there, but spoke of his work ethic and his willingness to help others. Warm words were said about how Jackie’s calm and humble spirit brings so much to the farm and to all those who know him. Cul2vate staff, community members, and Tennessee Department of Agriculture representatives all took time to celebrate and uplift Jackie for completed one year with Cul2vate. It was incredibly heartwarming to see FIVE Cul2vate graduates in attendance as well! What a blessing to see them there to support new graduates as well as to see how well past graduates are doing. We are grateful God brought Jackie and Ryan to us, and we are excited to see what God has in store for their futures!

Jackie right now is staying with Cul2vate and working on partner gardens with Church of the City, E.L.I.’s House, and Brightstone. These partner gardens will not only help feed more hungry people, but they will bring gardens where they are needed most.
