Get Involved

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Cul2vate! In 2025 alone, volunteers accounted for over 4560 hours of service, helping harvest and distribute thousands of pounds of fresh produce for our hungry neighbors!

Volunteer opportunities may include:

  • Farm work and harvesting
  • Packing produce boxes for food-insecure neighbors
  • Assisting at the Farm Store
  • Prayer and encouragement opportunities
  • Special events and community outreach
  • Administrative and project-based support
  • And more!

Before You Volunteer

Please note:
– Volunteer slots are Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays in the summer.

Time slots can change based on staffing, volunteer groups, weather, or other factors. Please check back often for newly added volunteer opportunities!
Also, time slots may vary from farm site to farm site.

No farming experience is required! Volunteering at Cul2vate does not require a green thumb. Working alongside our Cul2vators and staff creates opportunities for learning, encouragement, and meaningful connection. Many volunteers tell us that they receive far more than they give.

Volunteer Group Information

We are grateful for the many churches, businesses, schools, and community organizations that choose to serve with us.

To ensure a meaningful experience and maintain daily farm operations, we typically accommodate volunteer groups of up to 12 participants. We can generally host up to three volunteer groups per month at each farm location.

For groups larger than 12 people, we may be able to divide your group in to smaller shifts, schedule volunteers across multiple farm locations, or create a customized service opportunity based on availability.

Priority is generally given to local and returning groups, though we strive to welcome as many volunteers as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and your willingness to serve.
