Pray with us!

Thank you for praying with us!

Cul2vator Graduation

At the end of June, three students graduated! Bryson, Kent, and Wendell have all grown spiritually and personally right along side each of you who journeyed with them. They bravely told their personal stories at the ceremony, and all in attendance were humbled by their honest and heartfelt testimonies. Bryson will be heading to Mocimboa, Mozambique as a missionary in the fishing industry. Kent will be working at Brentwood Baptist, and Wendell continues to forge his own path. All three are returning to Cul2vate to volunteer! Please join us in wishing them well, and keep them in your prayers!

The Cul2vate Barn

The barn is finished! Despite rain delays, the team put together by Bell and Associates Construction and T.W. Frierson have been working diligently to working to build the barn. You can soon help us clean produce, eat lunch, and gather with others in the barn! We are incredibly blessed by the work being done and the wonderful individuals God has brought to the farm in turn.

New Cul2vator Class

Welcome Daryl, Jim, Victor, Josh, and Willie! (pictured at right)

While praying for our current graduates, meet the newest class! These gentlemen are working hard on the farm and have begun classes.  Please pray for them, their crops, and for God’s guidance in their journey.

Fresh Produce is here!

Cul2vate produce is looking great! You can see there is squash, tomatoes, peppers, and even eggplant!   The Cul2vators have worked hard tending their rows of tomatoes to make sure the crops are cared for and are growing well. You can buy farm fresh Cul2vate romas and other produce at local farmers markets! Produce is sold at Farmin’ in the Hall on Thursdays from 4:30 – 7:30 through August 31. You can also find Cul2vate vegetables at the Woodbine Farmers Market every other Thursday as of  May 25. Come and see us, enjoy the produce, and help spread the word about #GrowingFoodGrowingPeople!

You can also feast upon Cul2vate tomatoes at Tazikis in Brentwood! Have lunch or dinner there and thank them for their support.

Over 5600 pounds of produce have been harvested thanks to the hard work of our Cul2vators and volunteers. As of now, 3000 pounds of fresh produce have been donated to those in need! This means you have fed 2500 people! Remember, a gift of just $50 per month can help provide produce to a family of four in need! Thank you for continuing to fight hunger one tomato at a time.
