Cul2vator Graduation is a Success!
Just last week we graduated our first 2 Cul2vators! Chris and Jack have worked hard on the farm over the last few months and completed their program. They participated in classes about job readiness, farming, and discipleship. Both contributed their intelligence, work ethic, and hearts to the program.
The graduation took place at the Edward Jones Auditorium at Ellington Agricultural Center on October 13, 2016 . Deputy Commissioner Tom Womack spoke very highly of Cul2vate and the State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture showed a video of our unique and mutually beneficial relationship. It is definitely worth a watch!
Both Cul2vators bravely told their stories as well! They worked hard to prepare their speeches, and we were privileged to hear their true hearts. Their stories continue as their lives continue to be blessed.
While we will miss Chris and Jack dearly, we are excited to announce that both these fine gentlemen leave Cul2vate with full time positions with different employers! Both have pledged to come back to Cul2vate as volunteers. Please join us in praying for them, their families, and the future Cul2vators!
Special Thanks
We have been blessed with an incredible army of volunteers who have made this possible! Our curriculum team gave their heart and soul to these incredible individuals. We cannot thank them enough for their time, patience and guidance. We look forward to the blessings they will bestow up on us Cul2vators in the future! Our Board and staff will continue to work hard to provide the best opportunities for our students while still bringing you the freshest produce in Middle Tennessee!
