Briley Wharton

Briley Wharton is originally from Franklin, Tennessee, but spent a portion of her childhood in South Africa while her family served as missionaries. She had the privilege of growing up with Cul2vate and alongside the Cul2vators, where she heard firsthand their incredible life stories and the challenges the Lord brought them through.

When Briley entered college, she decided to pursue a degree that would prepare her to work with individuals exiting incarceration and those in recovery. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning a Bachelor of Social Work in 2024 and a Master of Social Work in 2025.

During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Briley had the opportunity to work at Susannah’s House, a women’s recovery program in Knoxville. It was there that God further deepened her heart for women in recovery, helping them heal from past wounds and discover their identity in Christ.

Now that Briley is part of the Cul2vate team, she is excited to use her skills and passion for serving others to support the organization’s mission. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, walking, and riding horses, as well as reading a good book.
