Cul2vate Receives Recurring Investment Through the State of Tennessee

Nashville, TN, May 2026 — Cul2vate is proud to announce that it is part of the significant investment in Agriculture included in the State of Tennessee’s 2026-2027 budget. Cul2vate is honored to receive a recurring $500,000 investment alongside other very deserving organizations. This investment, along with others in support of agricultural innovation, education and food access, was approved by Gov. Bill Lee and the Tennessee General Assembly.

“Cul2vate could not be more grateful for the incredible partnership of the State of Tennessee through this investment. When the State comes alongside private-sector partners, individuals, churches, and nonprofits to support organizations like Cul2vate, more of our most vulnerable Tennesseans can receive the help, hope, and opportunity they need.”

“This budget reflects Tennessee’s strong commitment to agriculture and the families and communities these industries support every day,” Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt said. “From grants and marketing opportunities to expanded services and food access initiatives, these investments support producers and help the department serve more Tennesseans more effectively. Agriculture and forestry contribute $103.8 billion annually to our state’s economy and remain our top industry, making these investments important to the future of our rural communities and the state as a whole.”

Cul2vate is grateful to be a part of the mission of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture – to serve, support, and promote agriculture and forestry.
