John Gonas, PhD

Professor Gonas is a Professor of Finance in the Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University, teaching Corporate Finance and Investment Portfolio Management for the past 28+ years. He has a doctorate in Finance and an M.S. in Economics from the University of Kentucky, a Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from The George Washington University, and a Masters in Education from Vanderbilt University.

Outside of the classroom John enjoys working with his students and area business leaders in stewarding non-profits in the conception, development, and implementation of sustainable social entrepreneurial models. He and his wife, Jill, have three sons and attend Covenant Presbyterian Church.
