Mark Tulloch was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. He attended Middle Tennessee State University where he was a four-year letterman on the tennis team. Mark has post-graduate degrees from both Vanderbilt University and Belmont University.
Mark has been a part of the Nashville healthcare scene his entire career. After spending time working for two local hospital systems, Mark moved in 1996 to OrthoLink Physicians Corp, an orthopedic ancillary development company. After OrthoLink’s acquisition by Dallas-based United Surgical Partners International (USPI) in 2001, Mark assumed the role of Senior Vice President for Eastern operations with USPI. In 2006, Mark moved to HealthSpring and assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2010. With Cigna’s acquisition of HealthSpring in 2012, Mark spent eighteen months assisting with the company’s integration into the Cigna platform.
Today, Mark is an active board member and consultant to a number of Nashville-based healthcare start-up companies. Mark and his wife Emily reside in Brentwood, Tennessee, and have three children: Geoff (Belmont University), Margaret (University of Tennessee) and Graham (Brentwood Academy).
